This mandala/kaleidoscope gives me a calm, serene feeling. I like looking at the swirls of green and what looks to be prisms sparkling at the points. It is as if something is unfolding into greatness – but in its own time. That is why I chose this quote:
“Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

I like how this one looks like it is created from string. I started with a photo I took of the Barnegat Lighthouse in New Jersey. Doug and I took our boat out on Barnegat Bay the other day to get pictures of the lighthouse from the water. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we ended up speeding back to shore in the rain. This photo is from a few weeks earlier in August, taken from the park. You can see the original below.

I found this “Perfectly Imperfect” daisy at Whitesbog Village in NJ on a mid-June morning.
This is helping to remind me to STOP constantly striving for perfection – it is not necessary at all – just ask this flower!
I took this photo in the front yard today. This is a small plant, the flowers are no larger than a nickel. I don’t remember what the plant is. It comes back every year a bit more spread out than before.
