It was an unseasonable warm (but welcomed) late September day and Doug and I were driving through the old bogs in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest (NJ).  The reds were really popping!  And the fading greens were glowing from the sun.

The original photo just didn’t do justice to the vibrant colors and the wonderful, happy vibe they gave off – so I got creative with this watercolor effect.

This was created from a picture of the red leaves of the blueberry plant during the 3rd week of September.  It was around the “golden hour” and the suns glow was beautiful as it cast upon this plant.  See the original below.
