My Feel Good Journal – Day 16

My Feel Good Journal - Day 16

Today was a LONG day for me.  Out at 9am, home at 8pm with around 5 total hours of driving!  It is days like these that I find it challenging to fit in stuff to make me feel good.  Knowing this, I made sure to schedule some good stuff in – one was a visit to some beautiful gardens with lots of bulbs and trees  in bloom!

And by the way….

Here are my 4-G’s for Day 16:

What are “The 4-G’s of Feeling Good”? – find out HERE.

Goin’:  I leisurely walked for about an hour.

I know I didn’t burn many calories – but I was outside in the sun and surrounded by beautiful flowers – definitely good for the soul!

Here’s one other pic from today…

I’d love to process and post more but I am tired.  I’ve learned I function much better if I listen to my body and go to sleep rather than push through it and get my 2nd wind.   If I stay up beyond exhaustion, I end up even more tired with getting little accomplished… and then I have a hard time falling asleep!

Greens:  NONE! – ugh!  Well, 1 organic green apple.

I had good intentions!  I knew I was going to be away from home (and my juicer) today, so I planned on stopping at a health food store in the town I was going to.  They make juices fresh 🙂  Unfortunately, as I’m eagerly walking to the order counter to get my super-duper green juice… I see the sign… “juices are temporarily unavailable”.  UGH!   So I walked out with an organic green apple instead.

Givin’:  I gave time to help a friend.

I gave myself the time to relax, breath and enjoy myself during what was a busy day.

I am grateful for the sweet scent and vibrant colors of flowers in bloom.

I am grateful for connecting with my Mom.

I am grateful for the light refreshing breeze that is coming in from the open window in front of me.

Making “Feeling Good” choices like these all started with doing the “4-G’s”! I’d love it if you joined me in doing the “4-G’s” – grab your free copy of my book that explains it all “Get Back on the Feel Good Train: 4 Simple Strategies for Getting You Back on Track” HERE. and there’s a printable journal sheet too!

I’d love to hear your 4-G’s…. share ’em below…
