My Feel Good Journal – Day 13

Goin’: Walked with Soc for an hour and a half!
It was a beautiful day for a walk – low 60’s and sunny. We walked the neighborhood and the trail through the woods by Turtle Cove.
Everything is starting to turn green 🙂 The pine needles on the pitch pine have gone from drab to this vibrant green color – woo hoo!
Soc is totally pooped! Here he is within 10 minutes of getting home:
Greens: Today I JUICED! – delicious Green Juice!
I LOVE Juicing! I know I’ve been having smoothies just about every day lately…but I do like juicing more. Read why here: “My Top 5 Reasons Why I Love Juicing”
Ingredients: 3-4 handfuls of kale, handful of broccoli, 1 cucumber, 2 carrots, 1 green apple, nub of ginger, 1 lemon. (if I had it – I would’ve added a few celery stalks).
Givin’: I picked up trash along one of my favorite trails in the woods.
For myself: I got household chores and work stuff done – but I also aloud myself some down-time.
Gratitude:
I am grateful for having a beautiful home to clean before company arrives for Easter.
I am grateful for getting to spend time outside today enjoying the sunshine.
I am grateful for homemade green juice!
