You may feel like:

  • Life kicked your butt so much that you stopped paying attention to your body – and whoa! In the mirror is a whole different you – someone you barely recognize.  <—- that is SOOO how I felt!
  • Maybe time just crept up on you and the pounds did too.
  • Perhaps you quit smoking and, like me, substituted any type of junk food for those cancer sticks.  I remember saying that I got rid of one problem (smoking) and replaced it with another – weight gain.
  • Maybe you have an almost uncontrollable sugar addiction (like me)….and want to kick that white stuff to the curb – along with the excess fat!

Here there is no must-do crazy exercise routine.  And you’re not going to be on some crazy – “only eat apples for 12 days diet”.

Having a Thriving Body starts with moving your body and giving your body awesome fuel, in the form of good food, so it can be healthy.

Here we focus on the first two “G’s” of Feelin’ Good:

Goin’ – Move your body.

This can be anything.  The goal is to move more than you do now.  My favorite activity is walking – although I also do other things like yoga, hiking, stretching, aerobics when the mood strikes – and even Zumba on my Wii!  lol.

Try activities that seem interesting to you.  If you don’t know what you want to start with… then get out and walk.

I share what I do to get Goin’ in my online “Feel Good Journal” that you can read HERE.

Greens – Eat more veggies.

The goal is to – like it says above – eat more veggies than you currently do.   What I have found to be true is that the MORE veggies I eat, the less I crave all the junk food I used to over indulge in.  I feel better, have more energy which is good in so many ways.  It also means I have more energy to move my body!  It’s a win-win-win!

One of the easiest ways I’ve found to add more greens to my diet is through making smoothies and juicing.

I’ve shared my “Feel Good Journal” where I document my 4-G’s ever day HERE.

You’ll want to grab a FREE copy of my book – “Get Back on the Feel Good Train” that gives you more actionable steps for gettin’ Goin’ and eating more Greens.
