Tonight I had the good fortune of being out at Whitesbog for sunset.
It was absolutely stunning.
I was down on my knees to get the right line-up for the shot – and I remained there, on my knees, in awe of the beauty unfolding before me.
The color lasted forever and stretched around me covering the sky in pinks and purples.
Even an hour later the sky still had hints of color at the horizon.

It was a cold day in December – the Winter Solstice in fact!
The air was crisp with the scent of salt water.

When it feels like all is lost – hope.
When no direction seems right – hope.
When life is at it’s darkest with no glimmer of light in sight – hold on and hope.
Eventually things get better, solutions present themselves and the light shines again.
I took this photo in mid-October.
There were a bunch of wildflowers swaying in the breeze on the side of the road.
They all seemed happy – stretching for the sunlight, enjoying the blue sky.
